  3. You will be displayed a page prompting you to login. You will have to enter the default credentials in the respective sections. The default username and password are, admin and password.
  4. After you have completed the login procedure, access the section of internet by selecting the menu and going to new connection on the setup wizard option from the menu.
  5. Upon the detection of PPPoE internet connection, you will have to get access to the username and password from your internet service provider.
  6. After the configuration of your router is complete, the internet connection status will be working fine. To configure your wifi network, browse the wireless section.
  7. Upon accessing the wireless settings, choose an SSID for your network and also decide an appropriate password by the format of WPA2-PSK.
  8. Save and apply all the changes done and the setup and configuration of the router is completed with this last step.

How To Change WiFi Password?

For better security management, you are advised to setup a customized password for yourself instead of using the default password. To do so, you are suggested to follow the given steps.
  1. Open your router setup page using its default IP address 192.168.1.1 / 192.168.0.1 / http://routerlogin.com/.
  2. For authorization process enter the default username and password.
  3. Go to Wireless & Security Options. Select WPA2-PSK [AES]; Now enter your preferred password in Passphrase.
  4. Apply the changes done and restart your WiFi for the new changes to come to effect .

  1. Launch the official website of router in your preferred browser and open the download center. Download the latest firmware available for your router model.

  3. After downloading the firmware file you have to launch the web browser once again and in the address bar of the web browser you have to enter the web address routerlogin.net and it will take you to a login page.
  4. You will be prompted to enter the default SSID and password for your router.
  5. The default username is “admin” and the default password is “password”. If you are told that the password entered is wrong, then there might be a chance that you might have changed the default password to a password of your choice in the past.
    If this happens, try to remember the password and login again. If you are unable to recover the password, what you can do is that you can reset the router to its factory settings.
  6. Post the above process, open the option saying, ADVANCED, and then select ADMINISTRATION. The option of updating the firmware will be displayed to you. You have to select it press OK.
  7. Depending upon the model number of the router you may get different options for updating the firmware. You have to select the appropriate one.
    Choose the file that you have downloaded. Open the firmware file and click on the button indicating update.
